• Dancing Wild Garden

This painting was so much fun to paint. Again, there are layers upon layers of oil paint, light and dark, forming and shaping an image that in the end reminded me of a garden, representing much joy and energy. I imagine petite ferries dancing around the flowers. Dimensions: 24 X 36, 61 X 92 Framed/Unframed: Unframed on Canvas Medium: Oil Price: $450 CAD

  • Flowers in Abstract

Once again, working with flowers, learning, and experimenting with the objective of taking the viewer to a time in the past. This makes me think of dark brocades, candles, fire in the fireplace, richly threaded table cloths, a decanter of red wine and scotch, crystal classes, and dew on the window panes. Dimensions: 18 X 24, 46 X 61 Framed/Unframed: Unframed on Canvas Medium: Oil Price: $275 CAD

  • Flowers in the Light

I love painting flowers and have wanted to learn how to paint them loosely with both the beauty and the freedom they deserve. This was my first foray into working with oil paint and I chose an impression of an older floral arrangement. I watched several videos on YouTube for guidance in awe of the painters I followed. This is not a replica but most certainly inspired by their work. Dimensions: 12 X 16, 31 x 41 Framed/Unframed: Framed in a Gold Frame Medium: Oil Price: $350 CAD

  • Flowers in the Dark

A leap into my learning about flowers in antique settings. And all while learning to paint with oil paint. Oils are wonderfully smooth to work with and they dry slowly. The benefit of this is that one can keep gently moving paint around, but one has to be careful not to do so extensively or the colours blend into a nondescript colour, that could easily be called, the colour of ‘yuck’, which would be nothing like the colours flowers or ancient walls deserve. Dimensions: 18 X 20, 46 X 51 Framed/Unframed: Framed in a Gold Frame Medium: Oil Price: $350 CAD
